Burekas

Have you ever tried a bureka? There is a wonderful bakery in RiceVillage in Houston that makes them and they are delicious. The bakery is called Bādolina Bakery & Café. It is the only place in Houston that makes burekas. Burekas are Israeli savory pastries with feta cheese. I tried many different things — the Ruby Chocolate, a chocolate croissant, a brioche cube, quiche, a delicious bureka, and a puff pastry with ricotta cheese. The ruby chocolate was delicious and had a very surprisingly sweet and tart flavor. The ruby chocolate was also quite stunning with all the perfect red balls connected into a cube. The quiche was also really yummy, it was super flavorful and delicious. Out of everything my favorite was the bureka because of its amazing flavor. If you go, the majority of the seating is outdoors but it is a very pretty place to have beautiful pastries with friends.
